Phoenix bar

Post by Randy Cornhole »

Does anyone get to the Phoenix bar these days? I only ask as I heard a very good friend of mine, Alan the owner had a bad fall recently and received a nasty head trauma. If anyone does visit could you please find out how he is and if you see him let him know I am concerned as to how he is...

You will have to let him know that its Dave of Dave and Joy who were asking after him. Many thanks... :)

Will pass on your message RC. I've been a friend of Alans ever since he's been here

I went to see him in Hospital after his fall and wondered whether he would recover. He did

Went to see him in the Phoenix the other night and he was much improved although he has lost a lot of weight and his memory is not good yet but I guess it's a long slow recovery process

Thanks Richard. I only got wind of this the other day and therefore don't really have any facts. What exactly happened and when? How serious was it? You can PM me if you think it wiser...
