90 day reporting

Post by lomuamart »

I've got to do my first report tomorrow at HH Immigration.
What do I need to bring along? Myself and passport obviously, but do I need any passport photos, proof of residential address (lease agreement) or anything else?
Thanks for any information. I've heard that it's a painless process that's taken care of in a separate office in the Imm building. Hopefully, it will be tomorrow.

Just the passport and the completed form (or you can get one there), you don't even have to go yourself, someone else can do it on your behalf.

And the 90 day reporting is done in the back office so just fill out the form at the table to your left after you enter the front door, then take that and your passport to the back (Glassed in) office on the right in the back corner of the room.... takes ten minutes tops! :D

I just walk into the back office with my passport, a big smile and a wadeekap. Hand the lady my passport and she fills the form in for me, all I do is sign it and away I go. Five minutes, tops. :thumb:

Ditto.

Last time I went she was in the middle of dealing with a couple of farang on other business, asked me if I was there for 90 day reporting, took my passport, changed the stapled slip and sent me on my way. All with a smile. 30 seconds.

So, you two know the lady so well that she knows your current address and can fill out the form for you... must be nice. The last time I went (about a week ago) the usual lady wasn't there and there was a young guy in the office. Have you guys had him over as well?  :D

Just bumping this thread again as I have to do my reporting tomorrow - the 28th. As it's a Saturday, Imm will be closed. I really don't fancy dragging myself up there today, so am intending to go on Monday.
That'll make me two days over the exact reporting date. I know that you get 7 days either side to report, but has anyone recently done it late (within the 7 days) and what was the outcome? I don't fancy getting fined just because they feel like it. Thanks.

90 days reporting

Post by icebear »

the experience I have is that to go to IMO a few days after the expiry date, as not to loose days for the next reporting. Somehow they stamped me a couple of days away before the date. I hope this makes sense....

Earlier this month I reported about 10 days late - no mention of a fine.

Thanks again. Too late now as I've had a couple of beers, the missus has gone out (she's got the transport) and it's too hot.

Lomu

Only a couple?    More like

I assume you do not have the form provided for the 90 day thing

Should be no problem despite there is a heavy BK presence there but advisable to collect a few blank forms for future use. It transforms it into a 30 second process if you arrive with the form already completed

Cheers    Enjoy!!

Yeah, that form, or lack of it, threw me last time in as much as I was expecting to have to fill one out but the lady wasn't interested - last time was my first reporting. I just gave her my passport and she stapled another report date into it. No form filling necessary.
