Just a thought but instead of posting this as a reply to nearly every thread asking a question on Hua Hin how about asking your brother to join the forum and part with some of his knowledge, we are sure he will be an asset to the board.

i think you might be exaggerating a little as to every post I believe he may well be a member of the forum albeit a non active one

if this is the attitude of the mods then i will cease to contribute

I have nothing personally to gain and never see my posting as an advertisment for my brothers company
the only reason for posting his email was merely trying to assist other board members that may or may have less experience of what he went through in setting up business in thailand

sorry if i have upset you or any other mod but my reasons were genuine and not blatant advertising

Please do not twist the words written above, we did not state 'every post' but have counted a fair few recently.

This is not the attitude of the mods and we did not mention anything about advertising - you did.

We are trying to promote the sharing of information on the public board and we were thinking that your brother may prefer to save time doing this rather than answering all of these emails from HHAD members. The answers to many questions posted here would help far more people if they were shared publicly.

But we could be wrong, don't take it so seriously.

the only reason i made the comment about advertising was because i believed it to be why you made your previous statement

I do take all my posts seriously on this forum and have always done my best to avoid blatant inflammatory posts

just curious....how does the whole moderator thing work. How come you only have 18 posts. Did you reach 100,000 on the clock and you have gone back to 0, or are you a newbie who is now a Moderator. Just curious what the recruitment policy is and who takes on these jobs. Ive no idea how these forums work. It appears someone is doing a bit of work, is there money it, voluntary etc etc. as I said I'm just curious - not trying to ruffle any feathers. Moderators
A new communal moderator account will be created for all moderators to use when locking threads. Some of the moderators have recently been on the receiving end of complaints and abuse as a result of their actions on the forum. This system will alleviate the personal aspect from moderating and thus allow the moderators to continue sharing their views and information on the board, they are only human too.
