Tours from HuaHin in May
Hi Klimic, unless you find a couple who are hiring, or own, a car, I don't think there's anything to gain by doing a trip from HuaHin that way. Plus you would have to find your own accomodation.
There are some good tour operators in HuaHin who do regular minibus trips to the Kwai, including one or two nights hotel, guided tours around the JEATH museum, the War Cemetary, and Death Valley, and often a breakfast on a floating restaurant on the Kwai and longtail boat trip.
The 2 night trips should also take in a visit to a floating market near Bangkok. If you haven't seen one its worth it, but when you've seen one you've seen them all!
If you want a tour around central Bangkok its maybe best done at the beginning or end of your holiday, rather than wasting time in the middle.
10 days soon passes. Most of the Bangkok hotels would be able to get you on a trip to the Grand Palace and a couple of temples for example.
I would urge you though to book a Kwai trip as soon as you arrive in HuaHin to avoid disapointment, and have a great time.
