Recession Proof Jobs
Recession Proof Jobs
Have you heard of recession proof jobs? Sounds like a weird question? Well actually, there are jobs which are not affected by recession. Teaching jobs! Teaching jobs (especially English) are easy to find in Thailand. If anybody has any questions about being a teacher in Thailand you can ask me. I have six years experience of teaching in Thailand.
What would happen to the farang teachers if parents can't afford to pay school fees at the private schools and send them to Government schools with Thai teachers ?Well actually, there are jobs which are not affected by recession. Teaching jobs!

This is the 2nd time you've offered to help people within a couple of posts. Is this a free offer of help, or are you working to some sort of commission?

Lawyers seem to be doing very well at present.
With regard to Teaching, the school my children go to have informed me that next Year (starting in August this year) the number of classes will reduce. This is clearly a sign fo the Expat families moving back to home country - I assume that tis also means that Teachers jobs are at risk.

It could, of course, just mean that they are cutting back on teachers and increasing class size...Winkie wrote:With regard to Teaching, the school my children go to have informed me that next Year (starting in August this year) the number of classes will reduce. This is the way
I'm experiencing the same thing over here with the same school start schedule. The 2nd term ends tomorrow and in our recent teachers meeting she mentioned 3 of 18 in my daughters class are going back to EU now. She indicated many more when the year ends in June. I've seen it as well in our neighborhood. People on contracts have been called back, not to be replaced for the foreseeable future. au contraire. over here in farangland most lawyers are right up the swanny. unless they do insolvency. the bread and butter residential and commercial property businesses have been drier than the water mains in Bo Fai at Songkran, and lawyers have been shedding off staff left right and centre.Winkie wrote:Lawyers seem to be doing very well at present.
one thing that is booming at the moment is pawnbroking (or in the case of our home secretary, pornbroking
