24th bomb ?

Streets were shut, yesterday (24th Dec.), around JedPeeNong Hotel and someone (Thai) told me it was because of a bomb

Anyone has news about it ?

I was in that area 6:30 but saw nothing.

Some more update.
You're right about the incident on Xmas eve Jimiherf.
A small box was found on the sidewalk, wrapped in Xmas paper.
Police blocked the way for all traffic, opened the box, and found some clothes and a scarf.
Thai police has been warned by British and US intelligence services that Al-Quida is trying to infiltrate Thailand during the new year celebrations.
