Brilliant end to the game. 8)

Didier Dropba, What a F***in ****.

Can be a great footballer but a pathetic man.

If Torres acted like that, I wouldn't want him at my club.

Can anybody imagine another footballer acting like Dropba? Pathetic! 8)

Come on Barca!

Drogba spat his dummy out as he knew that it was his over-reacting and deliberate attempts at cheating that probably led to the ref being unsure about the penalty decisions.

At least there´s someone to cheer for this season. Unlike a year ago, when I was hoping both teams would lose the final. Come on, Thierry.

I read he is injured. Will he be fit for the final? Pete

Should be back, it was only a niggle, the Final isn't until the 27th.

Come on Messi! 8)

Som num na indeed, Boy who cried wolf and all that.

I personally only think the Pique handball was a Pen but Abidal was sent off for nothing.

I hope Dropba and Bollock get a lengthy suspension.

Good times. :thumb:

The final Premier matches are on the 24th. MU/Hull. Looks as if they may have a good four days. However, will they really play their 1st squad against Hull, or rest them? Pete

Hopefully rest them and get beat, handing Liverpool the Title, then go and get humiliated by Barca, then I fly to Thailand 2 days later.

That would be a perfect week.

Realize the final is/should be on neutral ground. Is it always in Rome or do they rotate, and if so, how do they decide upon location? Pete

All of that fuss over a couple of refereeing blunders - I didn't see Drogba complain when Barca had a player (wrongly?) sent off to give Chelsea the unfair advantage.

Champions of Europe - they're having a Giraffe!

They should try playing in the Championship - they'd see some real refereeing blunders then. It's part of the game, and these prima-donas (SP?) aren't needed. If the likes of Drogba didn't cheat so much by diving whenever an opposing player gets within 4 feet of them maybe the referees would look upon such incidents more sympathetically.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

It changes every year. Clubs basically bid to host major finals similar to the World or European Cup competitions.

Thanks BB. However, what happens if the winning bid is from the city of one of the sides that ends up participating in the final. They can't let that happen? Pete

It's a F disgrace,
It's a F disgrace,
Didier Drogba,
You're an F disgrace.

Unfortunatley ,even as a season ticket holders,we wont be going to Rome,so we'll be watching it in our hometown..yes lots of Reds DO live in Manchester contrary to popular belief!!!!!
