There are a couple of indoor courts at Palm Hill sports club that seem to be popular, but I don't know if there is a club as such.

hi spam,
Not sure there are any clubs around here, i have been trying to find one.
I played quite a bit in the uk, a good few years ago.
I am a bit older and rusty , but I have my gear here, and some nice yonex feather shuttles if you fancy a knock about sometime.
I could do with some excercise haha!
Cheers

Badminton in Hua-Hin

Post by sixpack »

Hi Guys,
About 2 month ago I did see an add on TV (wich TV station i dont remeber anymore) it was about a badmintonclub in Hua-Hin. But the add was completely in Thai. I myself am also interrested in playing badminton. So if one of you guys knows about this badminton club notify me pls. Otherwise we have to sit around the table one day and discuss about setting up a badminton club ourselves.

A few years ago I was walking past the boxing place/gym at Grand Hotel and I'm sure people were playing badminton in there. I rented a house down there around 2004 so it was probably then. :thumb:

Hi Jimmy & anyone else, count me in, for a game.
There is a piece in the Hotline newspaper about a recently converted facility at 19 Rai.
It is my intention to check it out over next couple of days then I will post my findings.

Pagey, there use to be a badmintoncourt some years ago in the boxinggym, but it isnt anymore.

Paderborn, the tv add i saw was indeed inside that big building in 19 rai, i recognized it because once i was inside that building and it use to be a parkingplace. I think it is now converted into a badmintonhal, so check it out and put a new post in this forum once you know something.

Hi everybody,
There is a badminton club in 19 rai, in the big building overthere.
You can play 7 days a week from 17:00 till 22:00 hrs.
When you want to join the club you have to fill in an applicationform and bring along 2 fotos. The contribution fee is bht 150 a month or 1500 bht for 1 year membership.
