Trying to book flights for my step daughters for a months visit in October from Los to UK.
I need a direct flight as my girls aren't too world weary.
This is a delayed visit, as getting there passports and visas took far longer than i thought.
Stupid me.

I tried to book with Eva air direct. (love there flights.)
They wouldn't play as the credit card holder has to be on the flight, and produce the card at the airport.
There best price was 58.340tb for 2 tickets.
I phoned the London office and a charming lady confirmed this was true.
She adviced it would be cheaper to book from an agent in Thailand.
Now there is honesty you don't hear every day.
Googled flights and after all the rubbish. http://www.saveflights.com/ came up.
There quote was THB 57,000.
Bonus.
They wanted me to pay into there Thai account.
So i requested a quote for credit card payment.
Bless Kung Tom replied that will be a 3% charge.
Now the cost will be THB 58,710.
The advantge of paying by credit card is if it goes pear shaped you can get your money back.
However it seems to me that the 3% is just insurance.
And i hate insurance.
They rely on small print to shaft you.
So the question is.
Anyone dealt with this company?
She who must be obeyed assures me that she had told me of this.
And our friend in LOS can get a better deal.
Probaly true.
I was probaly listening through a Singha beer haze at the time.
Anyone got suggestions for a good cheap reliable bucket shop in LOS?
i apologise if this topic has been done to death.
Jon.
