For ADSL unfortunately yes, you can go via CAT but they still need to rely on TOT or TT&T lines so are just as bad and just as incompetent. True and KSC won't bother with Hua Hin because the market isn't big enough.Chas wrote:

The only other options avoiding these two are iPStar satellite, which won't work when its cloudy, or EDGE/GPRS via mobile - which can be painfully slow at times.
Sadly Thailand is in the dark ages when it comes to internet connectivity and that isn't going to change for a long time. As long as governments continue to censor it and hinder productivity online it will remain this way - hence the Thai phrase "len net" which means "play on the internet" - they still don't see it as an essential component to modern business ...
