It's Paul Whitehouse and the ad annoys me already. :guns:

I know it must be a rare treat for you guys to see the Green Army on tour (and I've not even seen the advert yet) :D

It will be one of the all time classic adverts.

Incidentally, I've seen Pilgrim Pete appearing in another advert over the last few days. When I see it next, I'll make a note of what he's advertising, and let you all know because I know you'll not want to miss it :D

What`s the problem Baa Baa, wrong colour shirt or wrong accent? As a Janner myself I think it makes a nice change.

I've not seen the advert since, but apparently it is advertising that the BBC will showing live Championship games this season.

Back to the Aviva advert, here's an interesting article about one crazy Plymouth fan, and also includes a link to the advert for those who haven't seen it http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/news/Ma ... ticle.html

It's on skysports news constantly.

No problem with anything to do with the club Arcadian, not even on my radar until I knew BB supported them.

I just find the ad annoying and presumed it was a really bad impression of the accent, I may be wrong.

You'll have to explain what "Janner" is. :?

I have to agree, it's more like a Bristol accent. For proper Janner, listen to somebody like Jethro.

I hear that Carl Fletcher is only turning up in attempt to get last season's wages paid.

Do you really think morale at a team where they don't pay player's wages is the right way to start a season? Not allowed to get new players because they're broke. Palace are desperate for the Green Army's fantastic away support to get enough income to pay the programme sellers - what a way to run a team!

The only thing in Palace's favour is Neil Warnock - if anyone can motivate the team, he can.

QPR 1 Blackpool 1

Post by Beeblebrox »

Well QPR are at it again, managed to salvage a home draw when by all accounts (according to the QPR website) they should've won easily. New manager Magilton inspires heaps of confidence by saying "if we continue to play like that we'll win more than we lose"...
Great! Not interested in promotion then? Just win more than we lose survival mentality. Richest club in the division (unless someone pays silly money for the Toon) hardly any investment in players; what happened to the owners 4 year plan of Premiership football?
I'm becoming more & more of the opinion that Briatore & co just wanted a plaything before they relocate the football club & sell of their land for oodles of profit. The way the football's been going it surely is only the land that has any value. :cuss:

As a Chelsea fan with a long memory, I have no time for QPR who tried to exploit my club when it was on its uppers and yes its location would make it more valuable as an empty plot. I've always hated Loftus Road as a ground anyway - pre and post seating.

A plus is that it lies behind the best Thai restaurant in London - thats if you can find it through all the Burkhas! :?

I'm glad this happened.

In fact I hope they get relegated after falling 2 points short and the wanker gets sacked, it couldn't have happened to somebody more deserving.

What has Neil Warnock done to upset you? IMHO he's one of the best motivators around. He's got an excellent record in the lower leagues. Trouble is that he normally falls out with his chairman.
