'Lawro' is a standing joke on the West Ham forum I visit, not just because his actual score predictions are so often wrong, but the logic he uses in his analysis to get to his prediction! However the forum (West Ham Online) has a regular feature called 'View From The Opposition' and he was good enough to be the guest on it for the Liverpool match last season, despite the inevitable barracking he was likely to get, but in fact came across on it much better than the normal regular fans who do it. The forum users actually pray he is going to predict West Ham to lose every week though as he so often is wrong!! He has a rather unflattering nickname on the forum, related to his sexuality and haircut part of which is unrepeatable on here, but has been reduced to its initial letters - GTHC - on the forum; the TH stands for Thatch Headed though...
We should all huddle this evening and have a team prayer to start the new season. Pete
Dear gods of football, bless those of us about to enter the field of battle. Send forth your angels with swords drawn on high to do unto others what we wish to do to them. Cast all 3X bankers into relegation and crash the ISP's of all infidel elite who choose their lot minutes before starting whistle.
Raise us up from the ashes of despair through the long march, and allow us to step mightily on the heads of others as we proceed up the ladder to victory. Amen

Phew!
Mind you, if Hull had lost 10-1 they wouldn't have been too disgraced
Hey....don't spoil it for us over here as most don't look until morning. I got smacked this week already by HHF concerning Tiger winning before he watched it.
Anyway, glad to hear the result. I had 2-1 initially but changed it to 3-1. YES, I remember someone saying last season..."NEVER CHANGE YOUR PICKS.."
The second banker is the MU match though. Pete
