recently opened. south of town in[your guess as good as mine for spelling] kao takipa. this is not your mama's market. quite simply put this almost seems out of place for hua hin. of course so did new shopping mall at frist. you will get use to this place soon. it's next to hyatt hotel. the grounds are absolutely fantastic. huge place with a large amount of natural terrian left in place. this means big shady trees abound ,no sun boiling your white head. beautifully landscaped.a lesson to all who desire to build anything new on how to do it right. most pointedly housing subdivisons. whoever built this my hats off to them. new well done buildings abound selling stuff. some kool things. as usual bunch of regular thai things for sale that you see everywhere. don't fret there are all kinds of food stalls with some high end hotels catering, what i don't know because my idiot american friends incessed we have 1 beer and you know the rest of the story. they have a fine stage set up for music and i'am sure there were great groups to be heard. we left before they started. i'am going with wife and kids next time. 3 till 10 or11 sat. only

I believe that the OP means Cicada Market which apparently stands for

Community of Identity Culture Art and Dynamic Activities.

They have a website which as I am not sure as to if I am allowed to post the URL I wont.
The website is all in thai to my knowledge.

Recently they hosted a Swiss band "The Starch" at Suan Sri Hua Hin.

From what I can see it is a cultural centre of sorts
