I feel a little bit sick.

Hoping for another big European night, we've overcome harder tasks in the past.

Camp Nou, Stamford Bridge, San Siro, Old Trafford, Santiago Bernabeu etc.

Wish me luck................ (I know you wont) Image

I may or may not be on HHAD tomorrow.

Jeez BaaBaa, Babel has just scored a hell of a goal! Out of the blue, against most of the play, but you can't argue with a power shot like that - where'd it come from!!!

Unlucky BaaBaa, I thought you would pull it off, maybe get a 2nd? Messy goal to concede and in the last minute, but the footie law has always been when you haven't got the luck on your side......

Out of our hands now.

Won't moan because the performance was there tonight, thought we were the better side.

What can I say?

Time to batten down the hatches, get our players fit and I'm confident we'll go on a run in the league when we get our full team back.

Citeh and Spurs really could have done with putting a bit of ground between us and them while we've had our "crisis", 1 point wont cut it.

Top 4 by December, comfortably top 4 come May.
I think in we've probably missed our chance in the Champions league tonight though.

Not to worry, time to build a strong league position to make sure of qualification in next year's competition ............. and who knows, you may make a good showing in the loser's cup - should be a laugh, if nothing else.
Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Points 46; Position 23 RELEGATED

I'd rather finish fourth than enter that to be honest.

Unless the plan is to win that, beat the Champions League winners in that stupid 1 game cup and walk away as the best team in Europe, Mwahahahahaha.....................or not.

Hey, don't knock it. Silverware is silverware. It's quite a downer at Home Park when they don't win the Devon Bowl

You've got to put something new in the trophy room now and then :D

Yes, well the only downside from spurs in the last month was the home defeat to Stoke. Other dropped points expected at Chelsea and Arsenal and at home to Man U. I think that goal difference will be very important and Liverpool are winning there. Got a funny feeling spurs will also go on a run after the international break :D

Its very true when you are struggling things tend to conspire against you.
If Liverpool would have been riding high in the Premiership no doubt they would have won.
Down but not out yet....I think they have to hope that Fiorentina dont beat Lyon and win their own two remaining games ??
But time to get the injuries sorted, put together a good run in the league and aim for Wembley in the FA Cup for the fans.
But again when you are struggling what odds Liverpool draw either Chelsea,Man United or Arsenal away in the FA Cup 3rd round ?
One thing is for certain. They have got to ensure a top 4 finish for Champions League football next season or Senor Torres may well be on his way to Barcelona.

Yeah, if Lyon win we'd just have to win our last two games which I fully expect us to do.

If Lyon draw it goes down to head to head between us and Fiorentina, a 3-0 victory should do it.

I don't mind Arsenal, I almost see it as United and Chelsea on one side and Arsenal and Liverpool on the other, I hope they do well because RZR is always supportive and constructive but I'll be relishing it when Arsenal have their inevitable bad patch.

I don't think I posted shite about your side when you were awful at the beginning of last season because I knew you'd come out of it.

Wenger even supported Benitez this week calling him a "Super Manager" so I'll be sure to rub your nose in it Arcadian if we take over you, your not exactly out of reach and we've finished above you 3 times in the last 4 seasons.

You took that the wrong way Baa Baa, I just admire your optimism. You may recall in a previous post I said I quite like Liverpool. Having said that I believe that Benitez has made some bad buys and decisions during games, why take off Torres with only minutes to go to allow the Lyon defence to push up and get a last minute goal.
Don`t take everything so personally, all clubs have bad periods, this just happens to be Liverpool`s. You seem to be able to dish out banter but unable to accept it. It`s only a game.

Because he is playing with a hernia.

Just sick of the media BS mate, don't take it personally.

Sick of the tired, repeated cliches being wrote in the press.

I'd like to debate his bad buys with you though if you're willing.
