Hua Hin Bike Week 2009

Post by buksida »

HHAD received an email stating that Hua Hin bike week will be held on December 4 and 5 at 48 Rai (same location as last year). HHAD has no other info so can't verify this, if anyone has any more info please post it.

Photos from last year's event can be viewed here:

Entry fees last year were 100 baht which got you your entry pass, a picture with a hot thai chick and a free beer (if memory serves me :) ).
The Vampire Crew run the show so don't get fresh or you get bitten :D

Giving this a bump as it is this weekend, anyone going? The Saturday afternoon/evening last year was a really good event with a huge turnout.

I don't have a bike... :(
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I believe you're going to have a contingent of bikers from this side of the Gulf attend as well.

Funny how you hear things. Getting a haircut Saturday when a dozen + choppers showed up all driven by farangs. One came into the shop to get his already bald head shaved and buffed. Chit chat and he told me they were having a biker week pre-party at the Offshore restaurant next door here in Ban Chang, and planning their ride to Hua Hin. Huge, mean looking guys all dressed in leathers, but the personality of teddy bears. :D Pete

Its not mandatory to have a bike at these events, I usually just go and marvel at everyone else's - there are some serious machines there.

Oh and the beer is cheap and they have dancing girls :naughty:

Went a couple of years ago and had a fantastic time. Great bikes, great atmosphere and great music. Bikers even let "her indoors" pose on their magnificent machines.

downside seems to be that all the farang bikers sit together and all the Thai bikers sit together. No mix.

We decided to sit with the Thai bikers and they offered us some of their food and beer. Joked with them and asked what bikes they had. They laughed when I asked who had Harley choppers. Reply with laughter was "only farangs can afford Harley choppers" :D :D
