Noticed a few signs around town today promoting the Hua Hin Food Festival, all in Thai of course. It will be held from December 28 to January 5th at 19 Rai (find it on the map).
Global cuisine for sampling, stands from the major hotels, big stage, beer tents and large markets have been features at previous events.

Ahhh The same kannundrum again every year Hua Hin Food international Festival but wait a minute.... This year they are holding this awfully late don't you think so buks? During my Study years @ the Campus waaayyy inside Palm Hills this food fest was usually held late Oct. early Nov. @ diffrent locations everytime. Once it ws held @ The 19 Rai near the Palace other time it was held right @ downtown area and for a couple of times it was held @ the place prius (latin adverb for before) Market Village!
I can still remember one year The Stamford Seniors where selling raw Oyster @ the Foodfestival 2001 @ Xcatly the same 19 Rai where This is gonna be held this Year. During thsee few days my Stamford Seniors my fellow friends where having a blast. hauling the cooloing boxes back and fourth, arranging stuff @ the stands and then making the selling pitch for them Raw Oysters.
But @ The end it was All worth it.
As me and best friend and former roommate simply took/jacked 2 of those them yellow Singha Beer chairs and placed them in our dormroom.
Whenever it was Chill OUT hour @ room 4404 usually from 11PM to just around 1am we take those 2 Singha chairs out and get some cold beers outta fridge and turn on some Chill Out music such as The Cafe De Mar Series (mostly 1 to 6 produced by Chill Out Pope Jose Padilla), Buena Vista Social Club and ect.
Ahhh Yeah those where the Good old days!
