Last time I was in Hua Hin I am sure I saw an International Bank on the main road? I think it was an HSBC but I could be wrong.
Anybody have any info regarding this. I am opening a new account and thought it would be useful to find out.
I even went in there once but for the life of me I cant remember exactly where it was? Except that it was of a red persuasion...
Many thanks in advance...

I keep pretty close ties with HSBC as I use them in HK but I've never read about a branch in HH, or in Thailand except Bangkok, and a commercial non-retail office in Lam Chabang.
UOB (United Overseas Bank) has a 'foreign exchange booth' office in HH with ATM and Western Union. Below are links. Pete

There definately was one it was on the main road opposite the clock tower (or there abouts) I went in there one day to use the atm (for they were inside).
It must have shut down...

There has never been a HSBC in Hua Hin, I bank with them and the only branch in Thailand is in Bangkok.
Hua Hin has no international banks.

If the Bank was red coloured, then it was UOB. (United Overseas Bank) Not sure if they are still there.
