Places to watch the Superbowl?

Post by MrPlum »

Can anyone suggest a good place to watch the upcoming Superbowl?

Thanks.

Bobby's Bar on Soi 102 is having a Super Bowl Party.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Super Bowl starts on Monday, 8th February at 6 a.m. So it will be difficult to see it in a bar. But they repeat it at 8:30 p.m. with no commercial breaks.
I never look the NFL games live, because of the many breaks, the later version is more than one hour shorter

I agree with that but it's a bummer if you happen to hear the score before the fact. :( This one coming has the makings of a classic. Let's hope it is. :D Pete

Think I will go for the repeat at 8.30 pm. So the next question, if someone can oblige, is who will be showing that if they've already shown it live?

I looked up the Truevision Schedule for 8th February
http://www.truevisionstv.com/trueworld.aspx

ASN (108) only with Platinum package:

6 am - 10:30 am Super-Bowl Live
6 pm - 9 pm rerun

ESPN (104) with Gold package:

6 am - 10:30 am Super-Bowl Live
8:30 pm - midnight rerun

But sometimes the schedule is changed in the short term

Usually I have a Super Bowl party but this year I'm going to be in Bangkok. I'll watch it at Bourbon Street in Washington Square as I'm rooting for the Saints!

Actually, I'm trying to find a venue for a U.S. friend, here on holiday.
