Missy is being cremated today
I wish to thank all of you on behalf of My sisters family and loved ones for all of your concern and condolences but mostly for your prayers that gave her the extra time and the Christmas she wanted
She will always be missed and she will be caring for us all forever

I wanted to put a picture but i cant see anything to do it with
i will post one later when it comes back

Just a small story to show what a wonderful person she was on the first day here in Thailand she watched Mrs Sarge sweep the house from the kitchen all the way out to the street. The next day she just up and started to sweep Mrs Sarge said oh you not need to do that Missy replied never mind love you take it easy I am on holiday

Heaven is now a better place just by Missy being there

I know what's going on in your head Sarge. I lost a sister early in 2002, in her sleep and with no warning. She was 12 years older than I am and helped raise me. We were very close. 8 years later now when I get into a funk or we're in the Holiday Season, I recreate in my mind almost perfect pictures of her helping me as I was growing up and the things we did together. It's a bitter/sweet process but of course as time goes by nature dims the stress of her passing, but never the good memories.

Grieve but don't dwell on it. Just remember the happy times of your life with her. She wouldn't want you to be all sad and depressed. Celebrate her life. Pete

Sarge

I flew to Australia in 1999, to take my eldest sister into hospital for an operation to remove a cancer that had stopped her eating. She knew it would not save her life, just help to improve the few months she had left.
I had spent a couple of weeks with her at her home with her children and grand children and we had a wonderful time together, full of fun and laughter and marijuana butter for her pain.

I never saw her again, as I flew to Tazzy and then back to the UK and I am glad that I can remember her on the last day in the hospital, joking with the oncologist. As I left, I never looked back.

The years have passed and now there is no sorrow or pain when I think of her and the memories we shared as children and as adults. Those memories are crystal clear and brighten my days, even after 10 years.

Missy is only in the next room and she is safe now.

I've lost my mind and I am making no effort to find it.
