When I was a spotty schoolboy studying French my French teacher was fond of telling the class that "We all have two countries, our own and France."
I have now been living in Thailand long enough for me to suggest that we all have three countries, our own, Thailand and Ireland. I will therefore be celebrating St Patrick's Night at a plastic Irish bar in Bangkok. If I were in Hua Hin I would ignore Lung Per's faintly self-righteous advice and would be looking (and finding) a suitable place to celebrate in Hua Hin.
