Are we talking about the same place. I think the entrance as well as most of the rest of it are made of hardwood, not corrugated iron.

I must admit, I am confused over this thread. What exactly is Plearnwan? I've been assuming that it is a quaint old fashioned restaurant with a few shops and trinkets spread around. However, I'm yet to see a review on the quality of the food.

I thought it was a mixture of shops, coffee shops, ice cream shop, little restaurants, a bar etc.

The reviews are what I expected but I wanted confirmation.

The frontage does seem to be made of stylishly rusty steel sheet.
From the large Thai movie poster on the side, I assumed it to be giving the impression of an old cinema entrance, leading into a sort of film set of past Thailand, but that is just my interpretation of looking at it from the street, I've never been inside as I said earlier.
