Great race! Hopefully our fears after the bore in Bahrain have been allayed and we will get a good season of racing.
Mixed feelings about the result though.. I'd chosen Vettel to win, so was somewhat disappointed when his brakes fell off.. (or something similar), but delighted that Button won.

On to Malaysia now.. a quick check of weather.com reckons 50% chance of rain (a safe bet I'd say). Should be fun again.. :D

(thanks for the congrats by the way, even though I was last on this weeks scores :( I think this league can be fun.. real nip and tuck!)

Agreed - I'm sure there should be a point for Schumi in 10th

One of the best races I've watched for some time, and yet again poor Vettel gets hit with reliability issues - that's twice it's cost me and him points. :cuss:

I will also take more time to study the form instead of just using my poor intuition

Anyway - Malaysia is less than a week away 8)

For Malaysia I have put Vettel as race winner for the third time. I hope, his car will make it to the end this time.

Well done JJ keeping the top spot - but we're chomping at your heels - or rather right in the dirty air behind you.

Just finished watching the race, so didn't peek here yesterday to spoil the fun. We prefer to watch a delayed BBC version for better commentary (and comments), but an unexpected late afternoon boozy session when picking up a bread maker meant watching it last night was a no, no.

Well worth the wait! Great race by Jensen, although I don't think anyone had him picked for first place, and Mr. Lewis is not a happy bunny. Nice to see Kubica on the podium with Renault - another surprise for us all!

Hmm... Malaysia and probably rain. Could be anyone's race.

Malaysia looms :D Weather Underground suggests a 30% chance of rain and the inevitable heat and humidity.
I've also pitched Vettel to win, I figure third time lucky for him and he's a pretty good wet weather driver.

Looking forward to it, all to play for in the league

I don't know what the BBC is on about. They're running a ticker at the moment saying "Button set to repeat his victory......after practice lap performance...." Just a bit too optimistic there this early I think. Pete

Good luck to you all anyway... :D

If for some reason you can't watch the race that's going on now, go to below and see lap by lap coverage. Pete

PH

How come there is no coverage of bike events for the likes of me, VS and Para?

Congratulations to Khun Gadook (bone in Thai :D ) who is still in the lead after three events, with Oz coming on strong. Vettle finally came through. Many amazing things in that race, one of which was Hamilton coming from the back to second before his pit stop. A week break then Shanghai on April 18. Good luck to everyone. Pete
