I do recall posts on here from long ago from I think a Swedish couple who ran/run a kennel and breeding facility in Cha Am. I know she posted in the past but I can't find it now.

Concerning other posts on the subject, go to the top right of any page, hit the tab "search", type in 'dog breeders' and you'll see a list of posts that will give you all the info retained by the board at present. Pete

As a side note, I had a half blue eyed Heeler in Hawaii, the other half was some kind of German pointer. Best dog I've ever had. He's still there as wife got custody. The Big island has many Heelers as cattle is a big business there. Real good dogs. Pete

G'day Pete, you got that right. Wonderfull working dog, loyal and possesive of family and regular visitors/staff. Any one out of the circle look out.

We use them as security in PNG as they are clever, sly and fearless.

Short hair and easy to maintain. Had a couple who would sleep under the car. They would watch a stranger enter the property, let them get past then sneak up behind and nip the heel or calf of the intruder, usually drawing blood, great dogs. A couple of these instances and the outsiders soon get the message

Love riding in the truck too.

They should apply for jobs as security guards in Thailand.

There's a lot on google, Croc, too much to post here. Search on 'thailand pet import' as a starter. I can recall people discussing it on here before but nothing specfic about all the regulations and requirements. Pete
