An observation

Post by Name Taken »

This might seem a little weird, but one of the things that i have never seen for sale on store shelves here Thailand is tampons.
Do all the stores here in Thailand only sell maxi pads and panty liners? Is it illegal to sell tampons in Thailand?

I asked the wife and she says yes you can get them there, some women prefer them as an example she said when they go swiming...
supermarket's and maybe phamarcy's, she said you should ask at the supermarket if you dont see them on the shelf.

i wouldnt notice them either since i havent had need for them, but wandering around a thai supermarket isnt much diferant from a western one ive noticed..
deli meat is diferant..less choice in cheese less choice in yogarts...good range of fruits....now i know about them becasue id buy them anywhere...
my partner prefers the wide pantyliners she struggles to get them here...often asks friends returning from thailand to bring several packs with them...me...i dont like them....hate that bulgy crutch haha :naughty:

Don't want to sound too sarcastic but if you're living in the far east and making observations like that, then may I humbly make a 'suggestion' along the lines of more beer, lots more beer. Plenty of other things to 'observe' than than that, funny, though credit to you honesty for posting man.

My daughters brought some over a few years ago and showed them to the BG's. They fell about laughing and asked what they were for. It took ages to convince them that with a tampon you can swim in a pool

The OB brand are widely available in LOS - in pharmacies, supermarkets, 7Elevens etc. They're not 'hidden away' - but to be blunt are probably not the size of pack you are accustomed to seeing if your ladies have been Tampax girls!
OB are in a smaller box - same sizes as Lillets. OK now?
