Wow, great photos, the only thing that still looks the same is the topiary elephant at the Sofitel!
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

If you look in JJ's bar on Poolsuk they have old pics of HH. These maybe as numerous as certain pics of the king..i dunno?,but when asked they were bought from a watch-shop/gallery up near the main rail-crossing.(just along from the 'ice-box shop on the corner), the little shop has black n white pics from early days...the main traffic-lights on Petkasem/Chomsin Rds had a humongous tree on one corner shading the whole junction.
Looks like those recent pics posted..the 1 with 'welcomre to Huahin beach'
that sign looks part of a mini-roundabout on that junction..?
