MC and Fulham didn't turn out the way I would have liked. :( With the last week upon us this is the way I see it:

- Thaiorchid, Gonefishin and Jimmy Greaves still have a chance to finish on top if Caller has a train wreck.

- Bradders, Big Boy and Bamboo Grove have a chance to knock off Zidane to finish in the top 5.

- Steve Geddes and BaaBaa have a chance to finish in the top 10.

Good luck to all of you! Pete

Like you, I was hoping to be a bit closer to Caller after last night's games - a total blow out there.
I reckon it's going to take a miracle for me catch him now. I've got to go for a 3x bonus and hope for the best :thumb:

Been going for the 3 x bonus for the last 2 weeks and got sweet FA. Think caller has it in the bag unless someone gets a record score.

Caller didn't you win last year?

I think he did, JG. Certainly he's won once or twice before.
We'll have to introduce a handicap system for him next season

I had the worse week ever, so I'm not looking at my score.

I'm not looking at my score, I'm not looking at my score, I'm not looking at my score.

Actually, I'm more interested in Chelsea winning the league!

I think Lomu won the 1st year, me the 2nd, can't think who got the 3rd (sorry) and I scraped home again last year.

And I'm not looking at my score!

Come on Chels! :thumb:

Can't add a poll mid-thread so I ask casually: How many.....

1. Make their picks strictly from what's in their head, and from their emotions.

2. Purposely read articles you wouldn't usually read to gain info useful in making picks.

3. Aggressive research, including scanning the betting odds sites.

For me, the first half this season I as a #3. It wasn't working. I went to a #1 and it's working better, except for 3x Bankers. :D  Pete

Number 1 then just laugh at Lawros predictions, the scruffy nobhead.

Congratulations caller - you've done it again. I guess a double celebration is in order, so we aren't going to hear from you until tomorrow.

Personally, I'm quite satisfied with my 7th place, and I think it's quite fitting that I share the position with BG - we've been playing leapfrog for a few weeks.

Overall my aim was to finish in the top 5,000 at the start of the season. I just missed out with 6,096, but that's not bad when I consider that at one stage I was lower than 90,000th

Many thanks BB, the last few weeks were tough and I'm pleased to have scraped through!

Still, another good competition where everyone is getting closer and closer - congratulations to everyone else that took part. And not forgetting old foes who are no longer with us, but at least Chris would be thrilled with the Chelsea win. RIP.

I also scraped home in the T-UK league for the 1st time!

As I've now won 3 times out of 5 do I get to keep the cup (what cup)!

Here's to next year! :thumb:

Yes, well done Caller. I look at some of those results from yesterday and my jaw drops. Home field last gasp for some I guess, or simply some not caring. I may never put my banker on Liverpool again. In fact, I have a case of beer here for you BaaBaa that Newcastle finish ahead of them next season. :cuss: :duck: :D Pete

The countdown clock starts for the beginning of next season. Maybe I can convince Lev to put this somewhere on the site? :D
