Troubles in Bangkok

Hi can anybody comment on the troubles in Bangkok?, is there any problems in Hua Hin. I am due to arrive from UK nexd month for a six week stay in Hua Hin i was thinking of avoiding bkk and getting a taxi to Hua Hin, i am cocerned about recent political unrest in Thailand, appreciate any opiniones
