With Mourinho winning his second Champions League title, who remembers the Real Great One? With a very limited budget he made his team the real champions.

Re: The Special One
What a legend - when I was a kid watching football (before I grew up and started following rugby
) Clough was simply the biggest name in football. He really was the Special One and his 'arrogance' was always delivered with tongue firmly in cheek, unlike El Traductor, who really takes himself far too seriously.
How about Guardiola anyway - he has done it as a player and a coach and will six trophies (every competition entered in his first year as coach) ever be matched? Unlikely.

Re: The Special One
I have admired Clough's leadership skills. His boardroom skills must have also been formidable, didn't need spin doctors talent. Each football code has 'a special one' like Vince Lombardi of Gridiron. His quote of 'Winning isn't everything, but the will to win is everything' also sounds like 'Cluffy'.
Mourinho will be 'more' insufferable now. I have yet to see the movie "the Damned United'. Any reports?
