Wet/Wild Weather
Hi playboy.
We had a lot of rain yesterday. Downtown looked like a river, but the streets are dry now.
You will find more about the new shopping centre here: http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/vi ... php?t=2870
Right now you don't need to worry about watering your garden, but I think you'll have a dry desert of a garden if nobody is taking care of it before October!!

Hi Norseman;
Is it horseman or norseman? Thank you for information about the weather in Hua Hin. I did not go back home since last November and I will be back again posible this coming October. Yes many trees to taking care and hopefully it alives. Everytime I call to my neighbor at the village, they said it has no rain!! but CNN weather and your discussion indicated that there is a rain in Hua Hin. So I just rely on information from the site like this one. Read about people who talk about Hua Hin. I wish that there will have a service such as satelite photo which we can zoom in once or twice a week at my home in Hua Hin.(actually 25 minutes from Hua Hin).
Thank you again

What never ceases to amaze me is that a country in the tropics crumbles to its foundations after a little precipitation. Roads flood, power goes out, telephones stop working, people drive like bigger twats, internet connections go down for days, cable TV is a fuzzy screen, anyone would think it was a nuclear holocaust not a few drops of rain.

Any closer to working it out JW - I'm always interested in viewing photos of natural catastrophies (the water outside was nearly waist deep).Got some pics which ill put on as soon as a figure how to do it!

It is not only in the tropics - this is just how it is in the UK after an inch of snowfall!buksida wrote:What never ceases to amaze me is that a country in the tropics crumbles to its foundations after a little precipitation. Hi monor.
First snowfall in southern Norway was October 24-25.
It created chaos in the traffic in Aust-Agder, Vestfold, Telemark, Akershus, Buskerud and Oestfold.
I wonder why people still ask me why I live in LOS.
Anyway monor, next time you're in Hua Hin, pm me, and let's have a beer and a chat about the snow that fell last year.

Hi Norseman !
Well, I don't regard some hours of trafickproblems as a big deal. Thank you for your invitation.I'll give you a notice next time we go to Hua Hin and look forward to a beer or two.... or more, and changing opinions with you. One of my opinions is that the local beer, Singha, is very good. I like to support lokal products and not the global trademarks.
Regards, Monor
