The reason for the delay is that the results are not yet official. These are the latest news:

Jenson Button, Rubens Barrichello, Nico Hulkenberg, Robert Kubica, Vitaly Petrov, Adrian Sutil, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Sebastien Buemi and Pedro de la Rosa have all received penalties from the Valencia stewards for safety-car rule infringements.

All nine men will have five seconds added to their final race time for speeding under the safety car during their in-laps prior to pitting following Mark Webber’s dramatic crash in the early stages of the European Grand Prix.

In a separate incident, Timo Glock has had 20 seconds added to his race time for ignoring blue flags.

The penalties mean Fernando Alonso moves up a place to eighth, with Buemi dropping to ninth, while Nico Rosberg picks up a point for tenth at the expense of De la Rosa.

All a bit strange - the results were processed in Superbru a few hours back...... not sure why Sportguru should be further delayed :?

Results are in. As mentioned previously, RZR was the only player to pick Vettel as the winner, but his strategy to pick after qualifying cost him 2 points. Best race is a 5 way tie with Richard, Oz, Lindosfan, VitalSpark, and Parahandy all with 11 points. Pool leader is still Lindosfan, clear by 2 points at 107.

Next up is the British Grand Prix On July 11. Good luck to all! Pete

PS: Where is Silverston, and is likely to be raining there?

For Christ's sake Pete - Silverstone is in England OK?

Qualifying today and the British GP tomorrow, don't forget your picks. Paul the octopus has predicted it won't be raining! Pete

Superbru is once again delaying posting results. Odd as they reigiously posted World Cup results within minutes. I'll post a summary later. I think I can say that no one picked the winner this race as most thought either Hamilton or Button would win being the British GP. Pete

Sorry, still no results and it's not SuperBru but SportGuru out of the UK. Only 2489 people playing the pool which probably explains why it doesn't seem to be a priority for them. :cuss: Pete

OK, results are finally in. Lindosfan still leads the pack with 119 points and is beginning to pull away with the next five positions between 114 and 110. I was incorrect in a previous post in that Lindosfan indeed picked Webber as the winner and he was the only one. Further, Lindosfan had the best race with 12 points.

Next up is the German GP on July 25. Good luck to all. Pete

 I still maintain I will not be there at the end, it is sheer luck, no one can be lucky all the way through. Interesting race though.
One thought Massa seems right of form this year has his crash affected him I hope not.
Seems to be between red bull and maclaren at the moment

Your modesty aside, you very well could by there at the end. 9 races finished with 8 to go. A 5 point lead is pretty big in this competition.

JJBones is 5 points behind you and you two have been the only leaders. Pitsch has come from near the bottom and now stands alone in 3rd with 112 points. Oz is gaining rapidly though and has had some good races. As we know, we should all be fearful of this man.

My outside pick is Vital Spark currently in a tie for 4th with 111 points. We all know how crazy women drivers can be. :P Pete

Races have been won from the back of the grid Pete....... despite the fact that I've held on to 14th place with grim determination since the 3 or 4th race, it's not over until the rotund one tickles her tonsils..

Can't you experiment with the scoring to assist in my intended late rush up the league.....
