There are the huge earth moving lorries are thundering past every few minutes...going up full, going down full. Then there are the empty ones returning to wherever....the noise from their massive exhausts is outrageous!!!
The lorries have been using an side road near the old bobby's bar to fill in a lake over near soi 112, this has been going on almost daily since approx June 11th... but today the lorry action up & down the road in general has gone up a gear and a decibel

Is there not enough land for building on, that they have to fill in stretches of water?
I know of 3 such stretches that have been filled in on the south side of the town in the last 12 months. Two of which were used buy local thai people for fishing. It is such a shame to see Hua Hin being ruined like this.
I think the environmentalist lobby in town should be looking at noise pollution and preservation of natural areas, along side other issues like litter etc.
My hope is for a speedy return to normal noise levels, if this is at all possible?
