Its round 21, only one more round to go apart from the Bulldogs who go trounced and Collingwood getting run for there money the other 6 top clubs were tuning up for the finals some recording big wins, Bombers get rolled by the Lions with even more pressure placed on the coach, media frenzy during the week when it looked like he would be replaced, most dont expect Knights to finish his contract that has 2 years to run.
Dees go down in Adelaide to the Power and Baily comes out that despite the loss we now have a nucleus of players to take us up the ladder, that they just need to get the games together under there belts.
Freo make 8 changes that took on the Hawks and pay a heavy price, Harvey defends the move saying a number of players needed a break after having played all games to date.
Pics below sensation Liam Jurrah takes a specie in Adelaide this afternoon and ever reliable Cam Bruce...possible captain next season.

Round 22
The final eight was all settled before this weekend with a number of clubs just going through the motions.
Cats tune up and take it easy over the WCE 112 to 68
Ladder leader Collingwood go down to Hawthorn in a close one 98 to 95 but its doubtful that the Hawks can do it again during sept action.
Adelaide Crows upset St Kilda 65 to 37
Brisbane Lions downed by the Sydney Swans 68 to 106
Western Bulldogs easy over Essendon 107 to 78
Port Adelaide fight off a determined Richmond to win 122 to 112
North Melbourne walk over Melbourne in the last quarter, i had the misfortune of being at the "G" on sunday in the twilight game, first half was full of errors from both and the tempo was no more than a practice game, luckily the game went a notch or two up in the second half, Dees looked like they had the Roos on there knees late in the 3rd and early in the 4th...then they just stopped, im using the excuse they tanked for a better draft pick  103 to 113
Matty Knights sacked sunday morning by the Essendon board with 2 years still to run on his contract, cant say it was a total surprise, Travis Tuck found in his car sunday high as a kite by police, AFL have activated his 3rd strike over drug taking this will see a suspension, he will be the first to face the new policy.
