Tira Tiraa

Post by Rone »

Thinking about renting for month. Any comments good, bad or indifferent. I did note that if I went direct to them I had to pay the months rent plus months deposit. Seemed steep to me and put me off going direct, but then maybe that is normal? Tira Tiraa seemed a good option because of its location. Dont want to be hiring transport so had to be pretty central.

That deal is normal, great location and nice units quite small but fine for a month.

We stayed there for 2 months right after it opened. Great location and friendly staff. We can absolutely recommend it for a month stay.

I looked at renting there over a year ago but was put off by the proximity to the train line. Especially as a train went noisily by (very noisily) just as I was viewing a room at the front. It may be different at the back but I'm a light sleeper so didn't fancy it all as there are quite a few trains go through in the early hours of the morning. Each to his own though.

Hello someone bought this topic to my attention. I have 2 studio units there and access to a number of others - one and two beds. My number is or you could check out.
The trains do go by but the location makes up for that and you kind of get used to it. Look forward to your call Nick

Regarding the post from Old Pro you may choose to decieve people but I do not. I am glad that my honesty amuses you but I prefer to be up front with people. What is is what is and I cannot change it.

Trains do run through Hua Hin and they can be a pain in the ass to light sleepers but as the railtrack runs straight through the middle of the town I do not think that we are the only condominium, hotel, guest house, bar, restaurant or householder, etc that are affected by them.

Apologies to 'Flyboy' but not only can I not post a web address but I cannot send or receive a Private Message so I cannot answer your PM. Perhaps the powers to be at HHAD can suggest how we can get over the fact that flyboy has sent me a message but you will not let me open it?

There are many other choices where one is not bothered by trains, so I suggest you look elsewhere, instead of getting used to it !!

It is all clearly outlined in the forum starter thread which you should have read on registration: http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/vi ... 26&t=10054

Links and PMs have been disable for new users to prevent spam, self promotion and freeloading, something we see quite often here.

Then don't send me a notification that someone has sent me a PM!

As for Pet's post - luckily most of our customers are not reading HHAD but it could be worse they could wake up next door to you poking your big nose over the fence.

Hi,I own a condo at Tira.My bedroom is facing in towards the sea and pool.At night windows are obviously closed, and the air-con on.You cannot hear the trains.People that have used my condo, all say about the vibrant very Thai location, but also they get a great nights sleep.Wouldn't like to comment about the condos facing the mountain, track and bars though.Depends on the sort of hol you want I guess. In bed for a decent sleep,up early going places,or late night drinkers, spark out till dinner.
