Sent my passport to Sydney from Newcastle(Australia)for a tourist visa,that was two weeks ago,anyone know how long it usually takes.

In the UK mine was back with me in about 36 hours.

Just received my passport back but no visa,they will no longer process visa application by post.They have taken two weeks to tell me that. Now i have to drive to Sydney three hours then go back three days later to pick up

Hi hulltoon, I think you can drop it in person, and they will post it back. If you supply the envolope and postage stamps. It works like that in Queensland anyway, suggest you pay for registered mail. Cheers
