Post by Dennini »

Does anyone playing football in Hua Hin right now? I've browsed forum and found some 1 year old topics about this but couldn't understand is this activity is still alive? If it's alive then is it possible to join to play with you guys?

I would imagine that most of the residents are too old and out of shape to play the beautiful game... that's why there are so many golfers here... :D :D :D
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

When I was there last month, I noticed that if you turn left after Hua Hin hospital on soi 10, someone seemed to be constructing an outdoor, astroturf five-a-side soccer pitch on the right before you cross the railway.
I haven't a clue who it belongs to but perhaps you could pass by and see if anyone is playing there.

I read that there is a 7 a side over 40's game on a Monday night at 7pm on soi 10. I saw this on another Hua Hin forum.

The new pitch you mention is run by the Observer team, more info on their site (you'll have to flip through the online mag): http://www.observergroup.net/

Contact them for details of matches ... wouldn't let me join the Monday kickabout because I am too young... :neener:
