Basically you have to drive around a "road" painted on the car park of the test centre, reverse into a box and then reverse into a parking space as if you were parallel parking and that is pretty much it.

There's a test. I went there with a friend when she took it. As for learning to drive on your own, I think it's the best option too, except some people might not have a car to practice with.T.I.G.R. wrote:Maybe I missed it the two times we've been to the DMV, but I don't remember anyone taking a driving test. I honestly have never heard of a driving school here; we (my Thai wife and I) thought everyone just learned "on the job"s as we say in the States.
