Floorball

Post by Bamboo Grove »

It's like ice-hockey played without skates and ice. Finland are the defending champions from two years ago. We are now again in the final after beating the Czech in the semi-finals today. I will be going to watch the match for the 3rd. place tomorrow, which will be between the Czech and Swiss. The final will be between Finland and Sweden.

Well, I had to start this topic as we are again without any chance of advancing into the World or European finals of football. Is there anyone else who knows this game?

Sounds kind of like what we call "field hockey" in the U.S. except that is played outside on the grass (hence the name).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Thats interesting as I had never heard of either!

The 1st one kind of looks like 5-a-side hockey, as per the version played on grass, but played indoors instead, just as footy often is.

The 2nd one looked more interesting than normal ice-hockey!!

Thanks for the heads up BG! :thumb:
