great to see. didn't realize saini and happygolfer were ladies until now .
would be nice to have a symbol next to avatar to denote male or female.

Splitlid: i can't tell your sex from your avatar if male or female :)

I don't think members need to identify if they are male, female, Hindu or white. It's an open forum.

:D your right of course, however, its just a thought. if you dont want to show what sex you are then no need to put it in your profile.

Welcome to the board ImThai. Nothing wrong with your written English.

Guessing maybe female there Siani, however, you never know really here  .

Thank you Spitfire :D I'm not so confident with my writing but feel more comfortable when I’m speaking English.
I’ve been in Sydney for 7 years and started form 0, I couldn’t speak English at all when I got there.
And Yes I’m a 100% Thai girl

To be honest “I don’t know!!” ..lol...However, I already got 2 offer to work as a Villas Manager and a Guest Relations.

In my experience only Thai people would ask about the education but the Western will not.

They will look at my personality and my ability for the job not education. I can speak English and of course Thai so it would be an advantage for any company that get involve with western and hire Thai staff.

I agree with you in all your meanings, because my experience is the same, you studied abroad, learned the english language well, got a formal education which I thought would give you a splendid opportunity for a good woork.
Instead they look at your personality and ability to perform good, maybe even your body and face, if you look nice or----, and your age is of course important, too old(over 30) no work.
Of course Villas manager is maybe an offer where you can start , but hopefully not end. I hope you understand , my meaning is , it,s not a bad work, but for me it looks that your education deserve something more.

Lucky I'm not that ugly..lol

Thank you Happygolfer, yep I hope so too. The Villas manager is a good start but hopefully it will not end there. I'm going to have my own little business too. I think its the best thing you could do in Thailand. People are going to use my skill but only going to pay me penut :banghead:

So good to see and read a Thai poster

Keep on posting and don't get discouraged and stop.

Almost all posters are farang and need advice and feedback from a Thai point of view
