The page contains the latest schedules and prices and your enquiry will go direct to the Hua Hin booking office which is run by our partners in this venture; Mermaid Cruises.
Nice one Lev, your fingers are never far from the pies my friend :)

I am thinking of using the Ferry next wednesday, but what happens if it is cancelled ? waiting til Friday wouldnt be an option

1. Are passengers told early in the Morning so they can make alternative arrangements (presumably minibus to victory and then minibus to Pattaya). Is there a full refund in that case ?

2. or do you lay on a replacement bus service ? (with some money refunded i presume !)

Over the last couple of weeks, how many times has it been cancelled ?

thanks

Can get Mini Bus directly to Pattaya from across street from downtown bus station. Takes 4 hours.
No need to go to Victory then onward to Pattaya. Just have to check to see when they are leaving.

1+2. We monitor the weather on a daily basis but, as everyone knows, it's not an exact science and we are merely dealing with predictions.
We try to give 2 days notice of cancellation but at least 24 hours.
There is a full refund and we will happily book alternative transport for you.

This time of year brings the strongest winds and the highest waves, so the possibility of cancellation is most during the peak season, unfortunately.
In the first 2 months of the service, there have been about 4 cancellations of a possible 24 crossings.

As we have said before, customer safety and comfort is paramount.

Online ferry booking via HHAD is temporarily unavailable as a result of a request from the Pattaya based ferry company.

Thread locked until further notice.

The online booking form has been taken down. Is there a problem with the service? Or just the onlone booking?

The ferry company has demanded that we remove the booking system as they want total exclusivity over the internet. We have heard nothing from them or the local agent for several weeks now.

We offer our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused to you and any of our other readers that have tried to use this service.

Oh....could get a good broadside out of this one, if allowed, but will leave it.

Seems like a dose of arrogance/vainglory is detectable on behalf of the exterior forces.

That's a shame the service is suspended for the low season. I would think there would be some travelers, maybe enough for 1-2 times a week? :( Pete
