One of my few joys in visiting rural Thailand is to go to the barbers in Lam narai where you get a haircut, face/ear shave and head massage for 50 Bht. My wife keeps asking why I don't get a discount given the sparsity of top hair!
Nearly as good as a traditional massage IMO.

Meow,

I was hesitant to recommend as people are picky with their hair, but in light of your recent rip off I will give you a place to try. I've been going to a place called "Tip to Toe" for almost seven years and have (most times) gotten a very good cut. It is a husband/wife team and they both cut hair. It is 150 baht and they are fairly fast. They don't speak English though so you will either have to sit down and get whatever they give you, bring a photo, or go in with a Thai person (as I did) the first time to translate. After my initial visit they remembered how I like it and do it the same every time.

Tip to Toe is on Sa Song road almost directly across from the All In Hua Hin restaurant/deli.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
