Your MULTI- Entry visa is valid until September 2011 so as far as I can see you do not need to get a re-entry stamp as your visa will be valid.
Re-entry stamps are for for a different type of visa.
I am sure lomuamart will put us all right.

Multiple entry is exactly what it says - you can re-enter as many times as you want within the period of validity of your visa - unless I'm missing something .... :?

Remember you can re-enter Thailand just before your visa runs out in September and obtain a further 90 days before re-applying for a new visa.

As already said, if your visa is multiple entry and valid until September 2011 then there's no need for a re-entry permit. You'll get a 90 day permitted to stay stamp on arrival back in Thailand as long as that is before your visa expires.

If you're not sure what you're going to do come September concerning getting a new visa, it's not too early to get advice on here. As TimandT mentioned above, make a border run a few days before the visa expires in September to get another, final 90 days. Then, what are you going to do about a new visa when that 90 days is over? Hi again… Thanks for all the sound advice…

I was planning to do a visa run in Sept to get them extra 90 days
Or a Marriage? Visa ( as advised by HH imm )…
Now we are settled and loving it here im going to send the required 400K and put it in my thai account for 3 months….
I was advised by HH Imm that with a Marriage visa I would just have to go to their offices every 90 days….

When my first 90 days was getting close I thought it would
be a good idea to go to HH imm to get some advice and see were it was etc…
They were very helpful and I got a 60 day extension
( I didn’t know I could get this )

I was planning my first visa run…this has worked out well
as I have just had to do one visa run with a friend (10 hours door to door to Cambodia Including a few stops and a McD brekky! ) and that’s me sorted till I go to the UK…

This will be my last trip to the UK for a long time it was always planned but we just cant justify the expense…it’s a big chunk of cash for a month away…and were just settling in ( 8months )….

but we have stuff to sort there and my folks want to have a big party for the little fellas 3rd birthday etc….
the last treat then back to life here…

I think after week in the UK (or sh*trock as many of my friends
who are still there call it!) I will be missing home (here in Cha am)
the house and the dogs…

Probably not the thai mother in law mind :D hahahahahaha…

Regards to all........a second huge thanks for the advice...

The annual marriage extension would be a good move (it's not actually a visa as you extend each year off your existing non O even though it may have expired a long time ago - it's got to be valid the first time though).
Make sure your 400K is in the bank long enough and dosn't fall below that figure during the three months before you make your first application. There are various other hoops you'll have to jump through but none of them are that arduous.
Whenever you want more advice on the extension, just ask.
