Ze third is an German Officer from the WW2

EDIT: Clues....all three were the first to do something in modern times. All three have a significant place in history, the last two more so than the first. If anyone on here knows who #1 is, it should be Norseman.

The first one is explorer and writer Thor Heyerdahl (Kon-Tiki) and the last one is Yuri Gagarin the first Cosmonaut in space.

Gargarin was the first man in space and passed away at the young age of 34 in a military jet crash in Russia. Pete
