Depressed

Hallo to you all. Im really depressed because I cant get a holliday when my house is built 1 of august. And everyday Im thinking of Thailand and Hua Hin. I work as a a prissonguard and for the goverment. I hate that the goverment are now stopping me to go and see my house when its done. Maybe you all think Im really silly but this is really bringing me down. If I had the money I would leave this cold country and live in Thailand forever.

As an ex prison guard I can sympathise with you, I am in the twilight of my career so it's a tad easier for me, though I am returning to the UK on 31st July.

You will have the last laugh, Im sure.

Perhaps I shouldn't be suggesting this, as being across the gulf I can't do it for you. However, there may be an expat or two on here living in HH who would be kind enough to go over to your house when completed, take some digital photos and email them on to you. Just an idea to make you feel a bit better. Pete

A very good idea I would be happy to take photos for you, I will be in Hua Hin from 17th to 31st July inclusive.

My girl friend did the same for me when our house was being built and whilst it was very helpful, it did want me to back there even more.

Dearly depressed, I know the feeling.

It will have been nine months since my first and only visit to Hua Hin when I return in July and then it will only be for two weeks because of my job.

Lucky you, you have a brand new house to look forward to. Prison life ain't so bad after all......when you're on the outside looking in.

Depressed because new trip to Thailand not in sight. Work like crazy but maybe my country is too expensive to put anything aside... or my employer, or something

Well Govenor, there will be 2 Hertfordshire Boys at least in HH by the sounds of it at the end of July. I am originally from Harpenden (not far from you) and will be there from about the 24th to the 30th July.
I was there about the same time last year and had a blast, so hopefully it will be the same last year.
Will be in Koh Samui for two weeks before and then about a week in HH before heading back to Australia.
