ok a not so lucky bastard tried it on today this prick called to my house about 5-6 weeks ago said he was the new electricty man for our moo baan hew was messing around my meter and neighbours for a hour or so he seemed plesant enought came another day to say electricty would be cut off for 2 hours next day .went on his merry way
today different !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! came with a new bill box same as the one on the wall changes it then asks for old on back he comes near my hall door
grabs my gold chain breaks it and runs like fuck i was right behind him his bike a brand new scoopy ticking over outside the garden wall i jumped on him and his bike knocked him off it , locked in an arm lock kicked him but got out of the lock was left with his tee shirt in my hand . he pointed to the gold chain and budha on the ground and asked for his motor bike which was lying on the ground still ticking over
the he got frightened as neighbours came out so ran awawy with no bike or chain or helmet !!!!!!!!!!!!!
the mib came along !!!!!!! ah man in jungle someone see him run in the jungle

Same thing happened to me a week or so back, went to the gate and a guy was trying ( I think) to sell tickets for charity. Next thing, he reached through the gate and broke the chain from my neck. I was unable to stop him as the gate is remotely controled but got the number of his bike 2-200 red plate.

MIB said that this is currently a common crime, a Thai friend had told my wife a week before not to wear yellow gold on the street, she had not even thought that would apply to our own home!

The only up side to this story is that a inscribed gold "dog tag" on the chain given to me by my wife several years before, was found on the ground just outside the gate, so the only loss was only monetary.

the mib took the bike away . the story on it was its on hp through finance co so. im sure the finance co will want it back

there were 3 papers in it name of owner!!!!!!!. addy near maka salam or { slum} possibly pol ou bol disc . at the cop shop took photos of bike his tee shirt and chain . which i still have but its going bye bye, off to sell in gold shop today . my budah will take up resedance on a leather strap now!!!!!!!!!!!! still around my neck , as the thai locals all said budah not want leave you today!!!!! pen choke dee!!!

Old lady opposite came down to the gate to see what he was after and he grabbed her chain and shot off.

Last week we were talking to an elderly couple here on a long term vacation, same thing happened to them a week after arriving !!!!

Local posing as employee of HH electrical company snatched the ladies gold necklace through the front gate. BE CAREFUL of any uninvited/unknown contacts

she had photo of him , which i identifyed as him the prick!!!! she also gave a name for him

so she is staying in the police club house until further notice!!!!!

the gossip filtering back throught the thai community around here he was living in rented accomadation near the dinosaur market and for the last few months has been stealing from farang houses in the soi mon mai area sunshin 1 2 3 nat valley possibly other farang estates in the area

Had one on the roof a few weeks ago and the Thai lady next door saw one off not long ago in a close by area. Ahole threw rocks at the dogs, one of which got an infection in the wound which has resulted in amputation of the back leg. First incidents round here in a long time, could be the same guy I guess.
