The Mighty Lance....

Post by Randy Cornhole »

Image Never one too feign injury is a certain Mr Lance Armstrong.
The seven times 'Tour de France' winner has recently been cleared of a 1999 doping scandal involving the sore loosing French cycling union. Shame on you France just because you can't win you try and discredit a true champion....tisk tisk.

What a man!! Just seeing that photo makes me want to give up beer and ciggies........................on second thoughts beer and ciggies sounds easier than the long hours of training and racing until you reach pure exhaustion. Lance is a man of respect and in my books a big phat :thumb:

Genius

Lance was a genius, and a wonderful bet winning money-maker for me. It was also wonderful the way the French hated losing at cycling so much.

It wasn't only Armstrong that the French hated - Indurain came in for some stick too, especially after dominating Le Tour with 5 consecutive wins in the 90's and refusing to speak French in post race interviews, even though he could!

Good for him! Did Chirac storm off in a huff when he heard it?
Incidentally, in the photo above Lance looks like he is trying to contribute to the Bowel movements thread, and not in Thailand either!
