3BB - absoteluy rude staff

I went to pay my bill today and have a line transfered. I wa explaining to the girl about things in a very polite manner and I was told to fuck off!!! Not the first time I have seen staff in that office being rude to customers. Last year a friend of mine had a complaint as to the allocation of his bill payments, they had put it into a suspense account as he had paid his bill in Bkk! He was told by the manager that he was shit and to fuck off!


Anyone else had similar experiences?

He was told by the manager that he was shit and to **** off!
Odd.
Anyone else had similar experiences?
Never with this company or ANY company here in 7 years. :?

I quite believe it. I have said before that it escapes me how that ignoramus of a "manager" has not had his teeth knocked down his neck. Somebody needs to go in there with a couple of motor bike boys and teach him some manners, it has been going on far too long. :guns:

I've never had rudeness from them, a bucket load of incompetence but they're always polite with it!

Our phone bill on calling their 1530 support line was actually bigger than the bill for their internet service last month. :shock:

With the beauty of technology nowadays I suggest you go back in there with the same complaints and record it on camera - you don't need to see their faces even, just be able to hear the words that are said... then post it here for all to see.

Personally, as my prior post suggested I find it extremely hard to believe that this is how things played out but Nereus has just backed up your claims so I would be interested to see the truth behind this.

As I said, in 7 years I have never seen this type of behaviour directed towards me in the street yet alone a business so would be pretty shocked to see it.

The image I do ,for some reason unknown to me, instantly see is a loud or drunk farang walking into the office with, justified, complaints and this is the reply they get.... Would I like to be proved wrong -absoteluy!

I can assure you that I was not rude or confrontational in any way. Many Thai friends have had the same problem.

If I could use another company I would. Unfortunately Im stuck with these rude sales staff.

Quite frankly if they worked for me I would fire on the spot.

I have had a few run is with the staff at 3BB. Incompetent and ignorant of their job and company product yes but deliberately rude no.
I have never experienced an educated Thai create a potential confrontation or cause an argument unless they could not find another way to make the situation disappear. A Thai telling a foreigner to "F**** off ? Maybe in a bar or from some uneducated peasant.
I too think there is more to this story.

When I call 1530 now, they just say "Not working again?" The poorest service company I have ever come across, but they are always very polite.

You should not need to record it ! just ask them to review the security camera footage they have in there in front of the area manager.
You get some red faces then!!
We had the same problem with rude and ignorant staff, mainly because they don't actually understand how thier system works and dislike it when you explain it to them. (after being supplied with a router that the system didn't support ).
Irrespective of more to the story or not, No one should be told to F- off by any member of staff.
You may do it faster! But I do it better!

I would just like to say a good word for 3BB ... last Saturday I went to the counter in Market Village and told the girl I was moving house on Monday. She was brilliant! Had my new connection installed on Monday 2 hours after moving in :)
My mind wandered and never came back :(

Yes you can. And the girls there are quite helpful. I had my service changed from an old 3/256 connection at 1166 TBH monthly, to the new 9/1 connection at 900 THB. The former never worked satisfactorily the past year. The new one with 9mbit download and 1 mbit upload lives up to its promises so far. (Knock on wood, next year they have probably oversold the service so the system cannot cope, and we are at it again).
But amazingly, I get a far better connection for less money. And the young ladies in MV did it pronto.

i have been having problems with a slow connection ,i got my wife to tell then ,and they were here in 20 mins ,all fixed and sorted in 5 minutes ,no call out charge , i cant really fault them at all
