That seems to be what I am reading on the website and the TV magazine.
Not really sure as I do not read Thai. But search on website only shows NFL on the ASN network which is available only with the Platinum package. Anybody see anything different?
Not sure how much Platinum is per month.
The service just plain sucks IMHO.

Hi Tony,

The way it works is:

If you already own your UBC/True equipment, you can use the existing dish.
All you need to do then is have the Dreambox installed (ADSL router required with 1-2 free ports)
If you don't own the equipment, you have to buy a new dish.
You then get all the True channels + HD

If you like sport (rugby, cricket Eurosport), Australian network, CI, ITV entertainment channel, Aljezeera, etc., you can have a second LNB added to the dish and also watch Astro via the same Dreambox and remote via a multiswitch.

Equipment/installation cost for True and Astro (assuming you don't have any equipment) approx. 8.5k baht.
Monthly rental for True and Astro together 400 baht.

Installation cost for True only (assuming you don't have any equipment) approx. 7k baht, monthly rental 300 baht.

There's someone in Pranburi who does it - but he can only do True.
There's another guy in Hua Hin who can do the True + Astro package.
What system are you looking for?

I look only for True. I now have UBC/Platinum, but would like to pay less for the same service.
I am a bit concerned about the future of Dreambox. If one day the encoding of the programmes is completely changed, the Dreambox will not work anymore?

I think the cheapest way for me with the channels I want is just to sign up for the Platinum package.

Went to True office.
Yes we can do.
But it takes 30 days from today until the change.
Real efficiency at work. Can't even run their own monopoly well.

So it turns out the NFL Sunday and Monday Night Football are shown live on Star 3
which is included in my Gold package. Which is all I really wanted, no way I am getting up at 1am or 4:30 am for ASN live games that you pay more for.

The cable magazine just wasn't able to tell me that.

Actually even a little better than last year with some Half Time shows included.

HHF and others, today on TSE 1, channel 107, Setanta Sports, I caught a glimpse of an advertisement saying they will be showing games from this past NFL season. At least it's something. I haven't checked any schedules yet or confirmed anything....my eye just caught one of their commercials.

It's also a great channel if you like rugby. They've got 500 matches scheduled. Pete
