Get smashed or ride the wave

Post by fach3003 »

Hi All
Sounds like a drunk driving thread...

Anyhow im after a new 4 speed scooter (Honda wave type!)
The auto magics are fine (clicks /Fino/etc
just fancy a wave type..

Fancied a Kawasaki Kaze 112 but they stopped selling them here
Yamaha not sure if they do one....
Suzuki do a 110 smash !!! hahaha........they look ok
anyone bought one , a smash!! ????

I even looked at a Lifan 110 something different but...
but after an test ride ( it wasnt bad! ) the sales lady told
me i would have to buy a better battery for it as the one
supplied where no good......huh?.......
The Lifans arent that much cheaper either...

I know I know i should just go and get a Honda Wave
110i /125........

just fancy something different ????

should i just ride the wave........or get smashed???

Regards to all !!!!

It depends on how much you want (or can afford) to spend - I bought a Honda PCX which rides so much nicer than a Wave, but then it should at almost double the price!!

Have you seen the new version of the Honda Dream? It's basically a Honda Wave 110i that has been retro-styled to look more like the old Dream with more chrome, drum brakes and an older style of decals.
I quite like the look and they're pretty cheap, I think about 38,000 bt.

But i want a non auto......and its only going to go 10km a day

Remember you will get a better deal at Cha-Am Honda than you will at HH..if you've got use of a pick-up pop up to C/A..we've done it many times now & saved up to 6,000B
(you can then take the bike to HH Honda for servicing no problem)...just a tip for you.

I know the op wants a manuel, but i have a pcx aswel and trust me they are heaps better than any steppy ive riden here, now i know they are more expensive but they get 40 k's to the litre. So in the long run will pay for itself, and the resale is excellent. I bought mine of a chap going to the uk, it was 3 months old, like new with 800 k's on the clock. he showed me the receipt for 69k he took 50k for it as he needed to go. I have been riding it for over a year, it has 10,000 k's on it and i was offered 55 for it a month ago, just some food for thought.

:D
Hi....im taking all comments on board...
if i could get a PCX for the same price
and miles as you did (J40)....
that would be great :D.......

But i dont want to spend over about 38-42K mark
coz im really after a bigger bike to race in the future....
dont tell the missus!

I thought 15 seasons of road racing before i came here
was enough ...
2 years later (last weekend )...
i realise i really need to race again...

And Kawasaki's ER6's arent too bad price wise here !!!
70hp is fast enough for me to race....
was in the past !

so if anyone has a cheap PCX for sale let me know :D

Probably end up happy with a Wave.....

Cheers!!!
