Crawford's

Post by Big A »

I'm going to go out on limb here and recommend Crawfords Irish Bar. the last two times I've been there its been packed, the beer is cold and the food is good. Today they hooked me up with a VIP card. Party on!

I agree the bar is good if a tad expensive for a long stayer with no income. Its nice to get cool inside when its roasting outside and they have the black stuff...Hmmmm.

Yea I'm a long stayer too. It is expensive but its really nice inside. I think it attracts the older wealthier folks. That is mostly who I see in there. But again it is high season still, it will be pretty dead in the Hin b4 too long.

No Big A you must of just gone there when I was there. Looks can be deceptive. I am old but definitely not wealthy. Well not in your terms.

I enjoy a beer in Crawfords also, Ken is dry as sticks, staff are some of the best in town, music still needs work though. I think they are afraid of a little volume!

JW, I agree about the staff in Crawford's and to be honest i like the fact the music is low as it makes a change as you can chat without having to shout. Loud music is OK but most of the bars have it pumping out sooooo loud you can't hear yourself think whether it be rock or hip hop.

Have to agree with Randy,

There is nothing worse than trying to talk over loud music, Crawfords staff are as said really good exept for Koon Keat.(elle), Joking of course.

I dont think low season will affect them that much as hua hin is more and more a residential town.

Also when the hot season comes round i know where i will be drinking.

How much do Crawfords charge for a Vodka and Coke so i can judge if it is a watering hole only for the fortunate few.
