Will somebody please explain all the Burberry wellies! Has the PM been doing a bit of trend setting? Or has she bought Chatuchak knock offs...
She was shown wearing them in some of the earlier flood photos (real or knockoffs) and caught so much grief over it that now she's wearing the regular red or black ones in later photos.

Speaking of flood fashion trends; there's a slide show of Bangkok floodwater fashion here:

And lets not forget the wee animals...

According to PT, the Governor is to be blamed for the mismanagement of the floods.

As they have majority, there is nothing somebody can do.

Let the people of Thailand decide.

Hopefully by now they now better.

As I understand it, the actual control of water is the responsibility of the Governor and the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority and relieve efforts are the responsibility of the Government.

No problems. I applaud the Thais for keeping their sense of humor with those cartoons through all of this. You need to laugh or go insane I guess. One thing for sure, the word "Mamba" has caught on in a big way. I expect Thai songs, a new dance and a cocktail of the same name in due course. Pete

Mamba Beer has a ring to it also. The label with a green mamba for the regular, and a black mamba for the stout. It may already exist in the Congo or similar. :D Pete

The airport (Don Mueang) we all knew and loved, and that most of us used until a few years ago... I wonder what the damage to all those aircraft will be?

It would be so much easier ( for most of us) to understand if road maps were published showing the new areas of flooding and its probable direction.

I do have Bangkok maps but this would be so much better to quickly understand

:agree:

I wonder how much money businesses and corporations in Thailand are losing everyday because of this ongoing flood crisis?
